The chameleon of white wine varieties. The most planted vine of South Africa. The variety produces sparkling wine, dry white wine, white moelleux and liquoreux that are concentrated by noble rot. Chenin Blanc is aromatic and has a very good natural grape acidity. In warmer climates also the cheaper wines made of chenin blanc can still be fresh and enjoyable. One can taste and smell peach, apricot, nuts, flowers and honey in the wines made of Chenin Blanc.
